Jason Dixon is the Founder of RJB Financial Planning, an independent financial planning firm serving the greater Oklahoma City area, built around the belief that financial planning should be personal, not transactional. With over 20 years in the industry, Jason brings deep experience, steady leadership, and a calm, clear approach to helping clients navigate life’s financial crossroads.
He began his career in 2002 with Edward Jones and went on to serve as an Investment Representative at Questar Asset Management. In 2005, he joined the Mutual Fund Store, developing his craft to help clients make thoughtful, values-based financial decisions as the firm morphed from a growing financial services organization into what we know today as Edelman Financial Engines. During his tenure, he served as Senior Vice President of Financial Planning, playing a key role in shaping strategy and mentoring Advisors across the firm.
After nearly two decades in leadership at Edelman Financial Engines, Jason felt called to create a business that put relationships ahead of transactions. That vision became RJB Financial Planning, an independent advisory business where clients receive the personalized, human-first guidance he’s always believed in.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and Management from Southwestern College, where he was a three-year letterman on the collegiate golf team. His academic foundation in business, combined with a lifelong interest in behavioral finance, shaped his distinctive approach, which he often refers to as “financial psychology.”
Outside the office, Jason stays deeply connected to his Oklahoma roots. He’s an avid bass fisherman, proud OU football fan, and committed youth soccer coach. He and his wife, Andrea, an interior designer and fellow small business owner, live in Norman with their son, Clayton.
Whether clients are preparing for retirement, rebuilding after a loss, or trying to make sense of all the moving pieces, Jason’s approach remains the same: listen first, build a plan that fits your life, and walk together every step of the way.
